The Dangers of Sports Non-Nutrition

Welcome to the Dangers of Sports Non-Nutrition Blog. There is something really wrong here and it mostly has to do with the notion that humans can ingest heavily sugared electrolyte solutions during training for and events like the Ironman. We will be posting information on this blog that I hope can convince you that what you eat and drink on a long training or event day shouldn't be any different that what you would eat or drink on a normal day. Properly nourished bodies have been doing events much longer that a marathon or the Ironman without the ?aid of sports nutrition for many years. Human physiology has not changed. The marketing of "sugar" has.
